Dispute Resolution| The products on Sell The Antiques are sold by independent antiques merchants from around the world. If you want to contact a particular antiques merchant, please use the Questions & Comments link found underneath the Add to Cart button for one of their items. At the time of registration, antiques merchants agree to our terms, the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, and the Paymate Terms of Use which places restrictions on certain types of sale. For example, it is a violation to attempt the sale of lottery tickets, narcotics, firearms, and fraudulent/illegal items. If a problem occurs, know that your purchase is protected by the PayPal Customer Satisfaction Policy or the Paymate Buyer Protection Program (depending on the type of sale). Just follow the steps below to claim a refund. |
In the case of a dispute or problem with your order:- First contact the antiques merchant and inquire about the status of your order. Verify that it has been shipped, and request tracking numbers if they are available. Use the tracking numbers to check the status of your delivery. Verify your shipping address with the antiques merchant. NOTE: The contact information for your antiques merchant will be displayed at the time of completing your order, as well as on the customer receipt which you will receive by email. You can also contact the antiques merchant by using the Questions & Comments link found underneath the Add to Cart button for one of their items.
- If the antiques merchant confirms that they have shipped the item, please allow time for delivery.
- If there is still a problem, please request a refund directly from the antiques merchant.
- If the antiques merchant refuses to approve the refund, or if they are not responding, then please complete the PayPal Transaction Dispute Form or the Paymate Client Services Inquiry Form. Enter the Transaction Receipt ID on this form, which can be found on your customer receipt.
- An investigation will take place following your Transaction Dispute and if your claim is approved, then you will be given a refund by PayPal or Paymate.
